Palmstore is a free mobile utility app that allows you to download apps easily on your device. Similar to Google Play, Aurora Store, and TapTap, this is an app store that offers free apps under different categories. Not only that, but it also offers movies, music, and e-books just like how other similar programs do. There’s no need to sign up in order to start using the available services.
What is the use of Palmstore?
Palmstore is pretty much another app store you can access if you don’t want to use other popular stores. It’s not open-source like some of the others but you can still publish and promote your apps through it if you’re a developer. As a global app distribution platform, it covers a wide range of categories that you can choose from—as well as a varied collection of downloadable media.
The main menu interface has four sections that you can visit on the bottom of the screen: Home, Game, App, and Fun. Home is self-explanatory enough and will display whatever is currently being advertised by the app store. Game contains the video game catalog and has four subsections: Featured, Hot, New, and Category. The App section has the same subsections but offers general non-gaming applications. Fun, on the other hand, opens up a website with more options.
This app is quite easy to use since it’s similar to nature to the previously-mentioned app stores. Other handy tools it has are a Boost function and a Junk File cleaner function. It also shows a pop-up of trending apps that you can easily download with just one click. However, compared to other stores, the list here isn’t too comprehensive as it mostly offers free apps. Additionally, your device will often detect it to be harmful.
Not as enticing as the others
All in all, Palmstore is a nice option if you want to try out another app downloader. While it has some security issues and lacks in the number of apps it offers, it still works well enough and you can find some titles that may not be available on other distribution platforms. However, if you find it quite lacking compared to the more popular apps, then it’s recommended to just try other app stores.
